Last night i found a cellphone inside the cab i rode on the way to work. as i picked it up it rang. the mother of the owner was calling; it said “mama SUN”. i answered and said the phone was left in the cab, i asked her where she lived and it just so happened that she lives a few streets from my village. i arranged to meet her after getting home from work and reassured her il text in the morning.

After heading home from work i gave her directions to my village, after a few minutes i got a text saying she was outside, i went out and handed her the phone and as i did she took my hand and said “thank you, konti nalng yung tulad mo, pasensya ka na sa abala”. i saw that she meant it wholeheartedly . i smiled and said it was nothing.
